The 2017 Working Weavers Studio Trail was fabulous! As a very amateur weaver, the weaving I saw on this tour blew me away and inspired me to learn more weaves and branch out into new fibers. I shared the drive with two friends, and we started at the southern end of the trail in Florence and worked our way north through Conway to Shelburne Falls. The drive itself was worth the trip and the fall color was gorgeous. But the best part was talking with the weavers and visiting their studios. Getting to handle, admire, and actually buy their work was the cherry on top of the day. The 2018 tour is on my calendar and I can’t wait to visit the weavers again.
